Mercy General reopens with one receptionist and a small budget. Build it back up one department at a time: hire the staff, choose where every room goes, and keep the lines moving through a long day.
Patients check in at reception, take a number and wait to be called. Everyone sees a doctor in Diagnosis first. From there bronchitis goes to the Pharmacy, pneumonia to the Ward, and a broken ankle to X-Ray and then Physical Therapy. There are 33 conditions and 18 different treatment routes through the building.
Every morning brings new doctors, nurses, receptionists and janitors to choose from. Skilled staff work faster and make fewer mistakes, but they cost more. Specialists such as surgeons, radiologists and midwives are quicker in their own rooms. Wages come out every morning: miss payday and someone quits.
Choose which plot each department goes on. Big plots are scarce, and the Ward, the Scanner and Surgery need them. Open a café, a break room, intensive care and maternity, upgrade rooms to take more staff, and put money into equipment, training and marketing.
From a district general to a cottage hospital and a teaching hospital, in snow, rain and summer sun, on day shifts and quieter nights. Ambulances bring emergencies that skip the line.
Heat waves, flu outbreaks, doctors' strikes, inspections and marathon days change how a shift plays out. Events ask you to decide: take a celebrity's money to cut the line, or make everyone wait their turn?

Mercy General is a management game about running a small city hospital, played in short shifts. It's calm and grounded rather than slapstick: 33 real conditions, each sent from reception and diagnosis to the departments it needs; morning shortlists of staff with skills, specialties and wages; and a building you lay out plot by plot. A 36-level campaign sits alongside an endless Challenge Ladder, a Daily Challenge and a Sandbox. Coming to PC on Steam, and to Android.
Mercy General is made by a small studio that works with AI tools. AI tools were used for: • the art and 3D models, in the game and in its store art and trailer; • the game's text and the store text, and their translations into 16 languages; • the music and sound, which we chose, edited and mixed. Nothing is generated by AI while you play.
Conley Interactive is an independent game studio. Mercy General is its first game: a hospital sim that takes the job seriously, with real conditions and real lines instead of slapstick, in levels short enough for a phone.
